Transforming Education by merging Indigenous perspectives with curriculum
Discover our engaging, immersive learning materials with themes that are intentionally inclusive towards Indigenous content. These lessons are designed in connection to our Matawa communities and practices specific to the ways of Knowing on their lands while encouraging critical thinking skills.
We are respectfully acknowledging that the lands on which we live and work at the Matawa Education and Care Centre are on the traditional lands of the Anishinabek Nation and the traditional territory of Fort William First Nation, signatory to the Robinson-Superior Treaty of 1850.
Matawa Education and Care Centre and The Critical Thinking Consortium (TC²) are transforming education, merging Indigenous perspectives with curriculum to empower youth. Together, they bridge cultural divides and champion Indigenous students' futures.
